Fiducial volume selection is a perpetual problem for low background experiments, especially when the spacial distribution is not well understood. The application of state-of-art statistical and information theoretical tools might of help.
A complete probability model of vertex and energy of KamLAND event is derived. It is used in simutaneous event reconstruction.
In this KamLAND internal note, an algorithm of pileup reconstruction is described.
In order to check its validity and efficiency, the algorithm is applied to KamLAND 85Kr minor decay branch coincidence in reactor phase and pile-up events in high-rate 203Hg calibrations
In this KamLAND internal note, the algorithm used for 85Kr coincidence analysis is applied to 203Hg Calibrations.
Validity of the algorithm is checked. Accidental rate of pileup of 203$Hg is compared to that of single events.
In this KamLAND technical note, we are going to discuss about data analysis tools newly available on Gentoo Prefix at abby/count computing cluster in RCNS.
The tools are Python centric instead of C/C++.
MoGURA future possibilities are discussed
